Hello everyone! It’s Charlie and welcome back to my blog! Who here enjoys playing basketball? I sure do! This summer is my first time playing basketball, and let me tell you, it’s a lot harder than I thought! After practice this evening, I was pooped. I bruised my right leg and I felt like I sprained my left ankle. OH THE PAIN! 😀 But it was nothing a hot, steamy shower couldn’t cure. First off, all the players on my team had at least one year experience, so they all knew all the drills my coach was teaching us. Secondly, I don’t know all the positions. The only position I seem to know is point guard, and I am only rarely point guard. My dad said I’m good at defense because I swatted the ball out of the other player’s hand numerous times. But it is still SUPER hard! Finally, I don’t know what’s going on in the game. My dad says I am just standing on the court scratching my eye, but in my defense, it really itched! My coach kept on telling me to move around, and I was, but I guess that just wasn’t good enough for him. Dad said I need to learn the game and study it at home instead of playing Fortnite on my Xbox. So, for newcomers, just know that it is not going to be easy, but just keep trying. Now, book review! This book is called Percy Jackson. It is about all about a boy that is attempting to defeat evil gods in Kronos’s army. I give it an 8 out of 10 because I really enjoy learning about all types of gods, goddesses, and monsters. Thanks a lot for reading this blog. Good-bye!
